COACHING WITH GEMMA LAMSDALE

Gem’s favourite place is to be immersed in water. She is energised by nature and finds a renewed sense of peace and perspective from the environment around her. She is adventurous but not fearless. She is driven by the belief that boldness comes through the desire to experience and learn new things.

Gem’s professional experience has led her to find roles, where supporting others to achieve their goals is key and this was one of the motivating factors in her becoming a swim coach. Gem hasn’t had a competitive swim background, but is often seeking challenges, such as being part of the World Record Winter Swimming Relay in Tallinn, Estonia earlier this year.

Her experience of cold water swimming gives her a knowledge of the huge benefits that it has to offer. All of which she can’t wait to share with you during the ‘Introduction to Open and Cold Water Courses she will be hosting here at Watersedge. To view availability and book on to one of these please follow the bottom button.

She is also looking forward to introducing you to the beauty of swimming at Watersedge, encouraging you to find your sweet swim spot and a renewed sense of self.

COACHING WITH DAN GEISLER

Coaching and competing has been part of Dan’s life almost two decades. During this time he has been lucky enough to win world and national age group titles and medals in triathlon and duathlon.

Throughout this period he has also coached a huge range of athletes as well as those looking to take part in swimming from complete beginners to budding pros, and understanding that everyone has to start somewhere. That as well as the fact that there is always room to improve is an important approach to his ethos. Open water swimming is very different to pool swimming and there are huge gains to be made with the right guidance.
